Is Something Afoot?

Although a lot of Republicans have argued that English is, or should be, our national language, it seems an equal number never learned to speak English.

Oh sure, they picked up a few phrases, specifically cut taxes and smaller government, but those were the only words of English that they knew.

But it seems a small number have been taking remedial courses, and are picking up words like compromise and  appropriate and solve.  Perhaps the national language is finally taking hold. . . .
