BTW, It's Official

well, it's official.

This blog is cooked.

At the end o' December, I had two posts appear with fewer than 100 views.

It's over, Johnny. . . .

Awwww ... So sad.

On the other hand, I have never-ever gotten 30 (thirty) views on any post, and don't expect to, yet ... my blog is FAR from cooked, in fact it's underdone if anything -- put it back, I say, let it bake for another 10 -- what, do you want to contract some parasitical pathogen? Cook that thang!

Cooked? I've always preferred your blog raw.

Oh, views, schmiews. This is a blog of excellent quality, IMHO. Also prefer the smaller venues to a stadium concert.

Also, feel I must apologize for not contributing much here (not to mention other certain blog places I enjoy) -- and offering really nothing at all of substance when I do. I just don't have the brain power anymore at the end of the day, which is when my day allows this. So I'm a lurker, pure and simple.

But my receptive skills remain sharper than the expressive, so that is not to say I have not been affected by the content here. I admire and am frequently influenced by the thoughtful political arguments, very much dig the beautimous original photos, movie reviews, and all that good stuff about the Constitution in general. And of course the cheesecake shots of studs like Cary Grant and Gene Hackman.

I'll second Lupner's comment. When our sun burns out and the human race vanishes from the universe like a soap bubble, it won't matter if you were a complete unknown or as popular as Shakespeare -- we'll all be dead dead dead.

Which somehow didn't cheer me up as much as I'd hoped ...

Well that took me right off my Colin Firth cloud -- which is actually not a bad thing. I think your point is well made, Mister Parker -- and does pretty much fit in with the Mule philosophy. For which we all know Jesus forgives him. Besides, we aren'y dead yet.

That was supposed to be 'aren't dead yet'.
