Thums Up for Pandora's Bocks, or is that Box ?

Took a couple of hours on Saturday to join my little-old-lady mother and watch Pandora's Box.

That Louise Brooks could really bring it. And it's a thoroughly-modern flick, with a look and feel that [but for technical limitations] could have been made yesterday, except that it would have sucked when a spaceship came along to blow things up, or when ol' Pandora would'a learned her lesson in a simplistic effed-up way.

BTW, I bought Vampire Weekend's Contra for $3.99 [today only] from Amazon. . . .

I'm relieved you liked it -- I'm never sure whether my enthusiasm for a movie will translate into a positive experience for anyone else.

Of course, it helps when the movie stars Louise Brooks ...

Just added this to Netflx. Pabst name thrown about liberally in Inglourious Basterds.

Now curious.

Expecting the Sasha Grey of 1929.
