My dear, Lovely, Kinky Friend Lupner

For that amazing babe o' the East Coast, the Lupner, I offer a little Ray Davies.

mister pleasant over at Pleasant Valley Sunday wrote a bit about old Kinks records, and offered this excellent early R&B styling from the eminent Kinksters.

Panna Mukta Tapti will appreciate mister pleasant's conclusion that the STones couldn't carry the Kinks' jock when it came to playing R&B.

The Kinks is a good band. The Kinks is making me happy. . . .

Are you trying to piss me off?

You can be assured that is the case, LJJ. But what's REALLY important is that the Vid Pimp has posted The Kinks for ME!!!! Many thanks and a kudos to you, Mister VP!

Dear Myth Monk, am planning to catch up very soon with your most excellent blog; have been distracted recently by earthly matters and not spent much time in blogsphere. One piece of good news is that in the interim I've accidentally achieved access to TCM. Joy!

In truth, I'm sure that the Video Pimp would never intentionally say anything to piss anybody off.

Ah, lupner. Good to know you're still kicking. Reading the blog is not nearly as important as getting Turner Classic Movies. That's even better than a health care bill.
