My Grandfather

I've posted this before, but it was over four years ago.


I find it hard to believe that my grandfather was this old in the 1890s

He looks like a proud man, satisfied with his work and fully aware of the significance of this momentous flash for posterity. It's just him: No wife or family present. He is bemused, grinning slightly, enjoying the process.

Mr. Mule's grandpappy is dignified but not pretentious -- a tough line to walk, but he walks it. I'd be surprised if he didn't have a great sense of humor & do well with the ladies to boot.
