Justice Isn't Served

You know, I doubt that when Chuck Berry duckwalks off this mortal coil, the movers and shakers will throw a Staples Center "funeral" covered by Brian Williams and Charles Gibson. . . .

too bad that sentence only resembled English

Reminds me of a letter to the editor in the Washington Post the other day, a mother saying her son was killed in Iraq on the same day as a no-good over-the-hill pedophile and, of course, there was wall-to-wall coverage of Michael Jackson and not surprisingly not a word said about her son.

Usually I roll my eyes (sympathetically) when I read something like that (the media wasn't going to cover the death of a soldier fighting a war for his country even if they had to go off the air for twenty-four hours for lack of something to say) but your photo of Chuck Berry reminded me that come the death of much more talented, influential performers, there'll be nary a peep afterwards from the media or the mourners ...

[Chuck Berry, who himself is a pretty creepy guy in real life. But boy could he play that there guitar.]
