Ever since we met him and gave him our insights, the team's gone downhill. . . .

. . . the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
1 Brilliant Observations By My Pals:
I'll freely cop to it. I can't think of a single person I have steered right on the road to success.
Acta is a scapegoat. The team and fan base are upset because they can't fire Jim Bowden twice, and bringing him in and executing him during the seventh inning stretch would be illegal. So it's Acta's head that rolled.
Not unexpected, but it's a pity nevertheless.
