Sadly, there are four lines that I like from this movie, but it is decidedly NOT a movie that I like.

These are among the many well-regarded, usually-successful films he's been associated with that, for whatever reason [I presume that it's ben Stiller] I don't like. I could add The heartbreak Kid and Tropic Thunder to the list.

The odd thing is that I've come to really admire Ben Stiller as a person [from what I have read about him], but onscreen I find him unbelievable and upsetting. The "unbelievable" shouldn't be a problem -- Permanent Midnight is the only "serious" flick that comes to mind. But the guy grosses and wigs me out. Because I don't object to him in principal, I keep going back. I then keep walking out unhappy.
