The dish that my girlfriend and I have frequently: steamed asparagus, tossed lightly in lemon juice, salt and pepper, and a bit of kalamata olive oil, with a fried egg on top.
Grilled asparagus (oven broil will suffice, just a few mins.), lightly brushed with olive oil, plus freshly ground pepper. That is not to say I would pass up the steamed variety.
